The Crescent Nebula

Our main instruments are an ASA N8 8" f/3.8 Newtonian Astrograph and an A&M RC-360AST 14" f/8 Ritchey Chretien Cassegrain, riding on an Astro-Physics 1200GTO mount. Our imaging camera is a Yankee Robotics Trifid-2 6303E.

We are currently imaging from Eagle Ridge Observatory, located at our home in Foresthill, California. Prior to moving to Northern California, most of our shots were taken from the famous Mt. Pinos parking lot, located a couple of hours north of Los Angeles, at about 8300' elevation.
